The Perfect Fall Itinerary in Houston, Texas
Hello everyone, Flo here! It is officially fall, my favorite time of year. As we dive into the season, I wanted to share some of my favorite things to do in Houston in the fall, as well as some events happening around the city that you can attend.
Flo’s fall itinerary-
Go on a walk at Buffalo Bayou- we all know that a Houston fall means the weather ranges from 60-80°, which to people that live north of Texas may not seem like prime typical fall weather, but it's better than the usual Texas heat! Grab a coffee, maybe a frisbee or a volleyball, go on a walk, and spend time with friends at Buffalo Bayou.
Pumpkin Carving- It’s pumpkin carving time! Some churches like Memorial Drive United Methodist Church have a pumpkin patch, but you can also go to your local H-E-B and get some pumpkins perfect for carving.
Go to the farmer’s market- Cool mornings on the weekends are the best for farmer's markets! Here are a few to check out:
Fall events happening in Houston- (Fall officially ends December 21st, so some holiday activities are included too).
Bayou City Art Festival (Oct 8-9)
Rooftop Cinema Club - Rooftop movie club in Montrose
Texas Renaissance Festival (Opens Oct 8)
Zoo Boo 2022 (Oct 1-31)
Houston Turkey Trot (Nov 24)
Houston Zoo Light (TBD)
Santa’s Wonderland (Starts Nov 11)
Houston Nutcracker Market (Nov 10)

I hope that all this inspires you to do something fun this fall!
