How to Transition Your Marketing for Fall

Fall is upon us, which means the holiday season is soon to follow. If you are anything like our team, we are so excited to see the change of seasons, not only outside, but within some of our favorite businesses. It brings us so much joy and excitement to see the new seasonal products our clients are offering, and to help prepare them for a season of giving and busyness! For business owners and marketing agencies alike, this is the most important time of the year! It is the busiest season for most, and though we are not quite officially ready to prep for the full holiday season, it is important to transition your products and services for fall first. We are here to give you a checklist on how to prep for a change of season.

1.  Switch up your inventory. Going from summer to fall is one of the most important transitional times. It’s typically the most dramatic change in seasons when it comes to seasonal colors and warmth. Whether you are a restaurant, a retail owner, a real estate agent, or anything in between, it is time to turn off summer mode.

2. Market your inventory in a new, festive way. See below for an example of a business going from season to season, showcasing seasonal colors.

3. Prep in advance for any necessary photoshoots for social. Examples would include shooting new fall inventory, a holiday calendar, a company Christmas card, and any exciting holiday offers you will be wanting to showcase in the following months.

4. Get in the spirit of giving. It is important to look ahead at what giveaways or special offers you want to run during the holiday season. We all know that sales skyrocket during the holidays due to increased shopping. Drive sales to your company with exclusive discounts and giveaways during the holiday season!

We are so excited to help our clients transition to a new season through social media. Stay tuned for more seasonal tips from the Roys team.
